ARTROOM
About
A first year project with the brief of creating a single storey space for 11-16 year old children to learn about art and photography on the disused area next to Sadler Bridge Studios. Project was represented using Sketchup, Photoshop and video editing software.
Required facilities are:

Sleep Pods
About
A final year project utilising the brief from the Bee Breeders architectural competition for Sleep Pods at the Vale de Moses yoga retreat.
The brief was for sleep pods which could be constructed on the mountain rock slopes of the Vale de Moses that cannot be used for food cultivation. Pod are to be cost effective, environmentally responsible and energy efficient with minimum underground construction.
Each pod should include:

Sleeping zone of approx 16m²

Storage space of approx 3m²

About
A second-year project to design a learning environment for the architectural courses at the University of Derby. A disused field near the Markeaton Street campus was given as the site and a maximum size was specified.
STUDIO
About
The following client was given for this project:
A 30-year-old female product designer who works with natural materials. She wants a home with an attached workshop.
She is an introverted and tactile person who enjoys a calm environment and the smell of wood and plants.
She cycles, reads, meditates, practices yoga and pilates, enjoys traveling, and owns a dog. She also regularly entertains her 2 best friends with dinner and drinks.
While she is currently single, she would like children in the future, so there must be space for children's bedrooms.
